What you'll be doing:
Using innovative, evidence-based skills and interventions, you will professionally support individuals seeking assistance with alcohol and drug use. You will take a trauma-informed approach and provide respectful, person-centred care, tailored to individual's needs. Central to your role will be employing an individualised, holistic approach to care, incorporating comprehensive care planning to address the diverse physical, emotional, and social aspects of each person's journey.
As a Senior Social Worker in the Assertive Community Management (ACM) team, you'll provide advanced clinical and psychosocial interventions to support clients with drug and alcohol dependency and co-occurring issues.
You will:
- Deliver comprehensive psychosocial, drug health and risk assessments
- Develop and implement tailored treatment and care plans with clients and families
- Provide outreach and assertive follow-up through community and home visits
- Support clients facing housing, financial, or family violence challenges
- Contribute to multidisciplinary reviews, clinical supervision and service improvement

Criteria:
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Current social workers degree with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW).
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and proven problem-solving ability within a clinical setting.
