The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Field Service Technician with strong electrical and mechanical expertise to join our dynamic team.

You will have experience in BHS, or similar conveyor systems or industrial automation.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading maintenance solutions for our Australian customers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of equipment.

The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with hands-on technical experience, excellent communication and customer service skills, and a willingness to travel extensively to client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in equipment, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
  • Lead the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions for clients on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Prepare detailed service reports and documentation.
  • Work closely with internal teams to improve product performance and reliability.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Electrical Engineering qualifications or equivalent trade certification.
  • Proven experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support (industrial/automation sectors preferred).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Work autonomously
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
  • Willingness to travel across Australia or NZ on occasion (site visits, client meetings, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license.
