Your role as a Family Support Worker

As a Family Support Worker, you will provide short term support to young people aged 0-18 years and their families, helping them navigate challenges and access essential services. Your work will make a real difference in their lives and the broader community.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Provide practical and emotional support to young people and families in need.
• Work collaboratively with children, parents, and caregivers to promote well-being.
• Connect families with appropriate services and community resources.
• Develop and implement tailored support plans.
• Maintain accurate records and report on client progress.

• Relevant Experience: Experience in case management, program delivery, development and evaluation.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teamwork & Adaptability: Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing needs.
• Compassionate Approach: A compassionate and client-centred approach.
• Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in welfare or related fields or extensive experience working with families with complex needs.
• Requirements: A valid driver's licence and relevant clearances (or willingness to obtain).
