About the opportunity

We're looking for a Junior Graphic Designer who's dynamic, enthusiastic and eager to learn. You will work closely with the Graphic Designer and Design Manager as part of a supportive in-house design team based in Fortitude Valley, QLD, developing cutting-edge, high-quality creative solutions for our Automotive businesses.

You will have the chance to develop your graphic design skills over a diverse range of projects where no day is the same. This fast-paced role is perfect for someone who wants to become a well-rounded design professional. Our group is committed to your growth, and there are future opportunities to progress.

The role:

  • Create marketing materials for a diverse range of channels such as web and email, social media, digital, Out of Home, print and video.
  • Respond to briefs and produce artwork according to brand guidelines and design specifications.
  • Multitask various projects efficiently to meet tight deadlines
  • Communicate directly with stakeholders to receive feedback and amends changes to design projects.

About you:

  • You are ready to start your Design career.
  • Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or similar.
  • Proficient in Adobe CC software (particularly Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator & Acrobat) and Microsoft Office. Experience in basic video editing, motion graphics or HTML/CSS are a nice bonus.
  • Professional design experience is appreciated but not essential
  • Reliable and dependable, and a key eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Fresh knowledge of current design techniques, tools and principles.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to grow and learn.
  • Excellent verbal and written english communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
