We provide solutions across the renewable energy, downstream oil, retail fuel and convenience, and dangerous goods industries. With offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, we offer extensive expertise in project management, planning, engineering design, and construction management.

We are currently seeking a Cadet or Junior Mechanical Piping Designer with relevant qualifications and/or industry experience to join our multi-disciplinary team in our head office located in Fortitude Valley.

Reporting to the Director of Terminals, this is a team-oriented role where you will work closely with internal Project Managers and Engineers to draft, model, and complete design documentation for terminals projects.

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold relevant certifications or have up to 3 years' industry experience
  • Be proficient in 2D and 3D design drafting
  • Have experience with AutoCAD and Plant 3D
  • Demonstrate understanding of design drafting aspects including document control, checking, back-drafting and on-site verification
  • Have a proven record in producing detailed, high-quality, and accurate deliverables
  • Be proactive and focused on meeting project deadlines

Highly regarded but not essential:

  • Experience utilising surveys and/or 3D scans/point clouds
  • Experience developing site and plant layouts
  • Ability to understand and interpret P&ID's
  • Experience as a designer in multi-discipline engineering and design consultancies and/or with pipelines, bulk fuels storage and distribution, or process plants
