THE OPPORTUNITY: A Role Where You Can Make Your Mark

This isn't just a back-office and analytical role—it's a launchpad for commercial leadership. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with the Global Commercial Manager and Country GMs, acting as the commercial co-pilot for our high-stakes, global operation.

Your analysis will be the strategic engine that drives bid competitiveness, margin optimisation, and sound decision-making across the organisation.

This is a role with excellent visibility, where you'll assist in engaging senior stakeholders and learn to translate complex financial data into actionable insights. We're looking for someone with grit, confidence, and agility. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

You'll help shape smarter decisions by translating financial detail into meaningful action for our global business. Your core responsibilities will be:

  • Modelling & Forecasting: Design and refine the core three-way financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) that underpin every major Acusensus deal and cost estimate.
  • Analysing & Optimising: Lead comprehensive scenario and margin analysis to aggressively drive bid competitiveness, pricing strategy, and profitability across new markets.
  • Executing High-Stakes Bids: Command the bid and tender coordination process, ensuring data integrity and timely submission of multi-million dollar, life-saving contracts.
  • Safeguarding Value: Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, tracking critical compliance, variation, and renewal milestones.
  • Translating & Empowering: Be the essential link between Finance and Operations, translating complex financial drivers into clear, actionable commercial literacy for non-financial teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The Essentials:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in accounting, consulting, or finance, ideally from a professional services background.
  • Modelling Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency is a must, including financial formulas, pivot tables, and dynamic modelling.
  • Commercial Acumen: You have exposure to three-way financial modelling and a good understanding of pricing, bid management, and contract administration.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with developing confidence in engaging senior stakeholders.
  • The Right Mindset: You are a collaborative team player with the grit and agility to manage multiple priorities.
  • Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred

This is a full-time, hybrid role, based in our Melbourne CBD office.
