We're Hiring – Join the Team at Gametraders Chermside

We're re-opening applications for exciting roles at Gametraders Chermside – and we'd love to hear from passionate, motivated individuals ready to join our dynamic team.

Who We're Looking For:

1. Experienced Retailer (Full-Time)

We're seeking a full-time team member with strong retail experience. If you're currently managing a retail store, your expertise will be highly valued here.

2. Junior Retail Assistant (Part-Time)

We're also on the lookout for a junior who has finished school and is available 3–4 days a week, with the potential to increase hours in the future.


What You'll Be Doing:
  • Delivering friendly, knowledgeable customer service to help customers find what they're looking for
  • Maintaining clean, organised displays and a well-stocked store
  • Engaging with customers to understand their interests and make recommendations
  • Processing transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Supporting the team and contributing to a fun, collaborative workplace
  • Assisting with trading card events, quoting trades, and learning to use our systems for pricing and inventory

About You:
  • You care about your work and bring energy and a great attitude to the team
  • You have strong customer service skills and love helping people
  • You're a good communicator who works well with others
  • You're detail-oriented, reliable, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • You're comfortable using Facebook, as we use it for team communication
  • Availability on evenings and weekends is a must
  • Must be available from mid November until January

You don't need to be a trading card expert (yet), but you'll need to be open to learning the basics – from quoting trades to helping with event nights (we run them twice a week).
