Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Assistant Service Manager for our growing business to be located at our Brookvale Service & Parts centre. This position is for an immediate start and requires someone with proven experience in a similar role, who is confident working in a busy environment.

Whilst a high level of automotive technical knowledge is expected, this is a customer contact role with a focus on delivering a high level of service to our customers.

To succeed in this role you will be expected to:

  • Assist the Service Manager with the Management of the Service operations
  • Oversee a team of Service Advisors to ensure all financial KPI's are being met
  • Assist customers with bookings and service enquiries
  • Ensure correct mix of work is being booked meeting daily budget expectations
  • Liaise with workshop staff, Parts Managers, and other internal staff
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is achieved

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Service Manager or in a similar leadership role within a dealership service department
  • Proficiency with ERA or similar dealership management systems
  • Self-motivated and well-organised
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills
