About the role

We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our mission-driven team based on-site in the vibrant suburb of Teneriffe. If you're creative, digitally savvy, partnerships-driven, and excited by the future of technology, this is your opportunity to take ownership of your role with a company at the forefront of blockchain advancement.

The role

As our Marketing Coordinator, you'll help shape how AusBlock connects with learners, partners, and blockchain enthusiasts. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll bring our educational offerings and advocacy efforts to life through engaging content, campaigns, events, and digital storytelling.

Your day-to-day will include:
  • Social & Digital Engagement – Creating, managing, and analysing content across our X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and in-house Member Forum, while actively engaging with our members.
  • Partnerships & Sponsorships – support the General Manager to identify, secure and manage collaboration partners across crypto projects, fintech start-ups, universities, sporting teams, and business chambers.
  • Product Marketing – Assisting in the rollout of campaigns for our education programs, and community initiatives.
  • Content Creation & Copywriting – work with crafty platforms to create punchy blogs, newsletters, and training videos.
  • Events – coordinate online and in-person events such as workshops, webinars, panel discussions, including sporting partnership affiliations.
What we're looking for:
  • A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, media, or design.
  • Experience in sales, partnerships, or marketing roles, ideally in crypto, fintech, SaaS or related tech preferred, but you can bring your own flavour.
  • Proficiency in growing social communities and event coordination.
  • Ability to seek and manage new and existing partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Experience using content creation tools (eg. Canva and Adobe Suite).
  • Strong writing skills and an eye for visual storytelling.
  • A proactive and data-driven mindset - proficient with Hootsuite/Sprout, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Familiarity with web and email platforms like WordPress, Mailchimp, or HubSpot.
  • A genuine interest or working knowledge in blockchain, cryptocurrency, or fintech.
