Our company specialise and take pride in providing the servicing of on-site facilities that support Victoria's major infrastructure projects and events. Our clients consist of Tier 1 builders & experience on large scale projects is required.

About the Role and your responsibilities

Zero Hire are seeking a physically fit and motivated Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team. This position is a great opportunity for someone seeking a fast-paced, dynamic full-time role. Zero Hire head office is based in Tottenham VIC, however the position is primarily a site based role that would require you to attend the yard on a daily basis at the beginning and end of your day.

You will be responsible for the collection of liquid wastes, completing documentation, and maintaining your vehicle. The role is very hands-on, involves driving and manual labour. This role will suit a forward-thinking individual, who thrives working both individually and as a team.

Your role as a Zero Hire Vacuum Pump Truck Operator will consist of;

  • Safe and compliant operation of Vacuum Truck
  • Collect and dispose of liquid waste across various locations throughout Melbourne
  • Pumping of liquid waste from Septic Tanks and Portable toilets
  • Communicating with Clients
  • Daily Maintenance of Truck & Equipment

The ideal applicant will possess

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems while ensuring accuracy of data entry
  • Building and maintaining a positive relationship/rapport with key internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders as you represent our company out on site
  • Self-motivated individual with strong time-management skills and excellent communication
  • Forward thinking with a high attention to detail

  • Follow safe work practices

Requirements

  • Valid HR driver's license
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in driving a HR vehicle
  • MUST have experience using a Vac Truck
  • Construction Induction Card/White Card
  • Previous experience in the construction industry on large scale projects is required.
  • Physically fit and healthy
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends
