About the role

As a Vacuum Truck Operator HC at Burglar Liquid Waste (VIC) Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the company's operations. This full-time position based in Campbellfield, VIC is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vacuum trucks, ensuring the proper disposal of liquid waste. What you'll be doing

  1. Operate vacuum trucks to collect and transport liquid waste from various job sites
  2. Perform pre-operational checks and maintain the trucks in good working condition
  3. Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations when handling and disposing of liquid waste
  4. Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide excellent customer service
  5. Maintain accurate records of all waste collection and disposal activities
  6. Assist with other tasks as required to support the overall operations of the company

What we're looking for

  1. A valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence
  2. Proven experience as a vacuum truck operator or in a similar heavy equipment role
  3. Physically Fit - role involves hose handling and lifting
  4. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  5. A commitment to safety and environmental protection
  6. The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Australian work rights are required for this position
