About the Role:

As our Practice Manager , you will be the face of the clinic and the central contact for our patients — but you will also be entrusted with helping run the day-to-day operations and supporting the clinic's overall management. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth workflows, exceptional service, and a supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all patient communications, delivering an exceptional experience at every touchpoint
  • Provide leadership and support to the clinic and assist with training staff
  • Help manage clinic operations, including appointment scheduling, procedures, and follow-ups
  • Prepare and maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld
  • Process Medicare and private billing accurately and assist with account enquiries
  • Maintain a high standard of organisation and professionalism throughout the clinic
  • Identify and support process improvements in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Step up to lead in the Practice Manager's absence

What We're Looking For:

  • 3–5 years' experience in a medical receptionist or senior customer service role (skin cancer/GP clinic experience a bonus)
  • Knowledge of Best Practice software is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Medicare billing and patient account processes
  • Strong leadership potential and a willingness to take initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player with a professional presentation and a can-do attitude.
