The
Federation of Community Legal Centres Victoria
(the Federation) is a fast-paced and dynamic organisation that leads and supports excellence in the community legal sector, promotes the purpose and value of community legal centres (CLCs), and advances social justice and a fair legal system. As
Project Manager – Sector Projects
, you will lead and deliver a diverse portfolio of strategic projects that strengthen collaboration, enhance operational effectiveness, and support sector-wide outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys managing multiple concurrent projects, and is passionate about driving impact through strategic initiatives.
Reporting to the Deputy CEO, you will oversee projects such as the rollout of a sector-wide cyber security initiative, development of a shared document portal, and coordination of activities under the CLC sector's 10-Year Plan. You'll work closely with internal teams, member CLCs and working groups to encourage engagement and participation and ensure timely and effective delivery of projects.
The role will support project monitoring, evaluation, learning and reporting, with opportunities to identify improvements and test new initiatives.
About YOU
- Strong project management experience, with the ability to plan, prioritise and drive outcomes across multiple concurrent projects in a low-resource environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and facilitate collaboration.
- Experience applying monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) frameworks and theories of change.
- Highly developed written communication skills, including drafting project plans, templates and comprehensive reports.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible, proactive and collaborative, with a hands-on approach and able to work effectively in a small team.
- Experience in the community legal sector or a member-based peak body is
desirable.
