On behalf of our client (Little Bay), we are advertising. Little Bay is looking for a Sous Chef to join their team based in Watermans Bay.

As the Sous Chef you are responsible for assisting the Head Chef in overseeing the efficient running and profitability of the food in the venue and managing the kitchen employees. You will share ultimately responsibility for the kitchen including staff, stock and operations. You will be solely responsible for the below in the absence of the Head Chef.

Tasks & Duties:

1. Reporting to the Head Chef you will assist in leading, managing and developing staff in the kitchen.

2. Training of Staff.

3. Rostering of Staff within Labour budgets

4. Creating & Costing menu items

5. Driving menu updates

6. Management of Food Safety System

7. Assist in maintaining supplier relationships

8. Implement & manage procedures & systems to ensure the kitchen is running to company standards.

Skills & Experience:

Suitable candidates must have relevant training qualifications and at least 3 years of working experience.

Location: Watermans Bay, WA 6020

Salary Range: A$ 73150 to A$ 78000
