The Gastevski Group is a dynamic and rapidly expanding hospitality group in the Perth and Peel region with a solid reputation for offering distinct, value-add food menus based on simplicity of great product, quality and consistency.
We are seeking for a talented and driven Sous Chef for our venue at The Cornerstone Ale House in Butler to join and support our Head Chef lead our energetic and professional team. You will be a focused, determined, inspiring and hands-on Sous Chef with an open mind and a fresh approach to food. Use your enthusiasm and motivation to take this venue to the next level in kitchen operations, menu offer and style of service. We have a strong and determined team, we now need the driving force.
To be a successful candidate you must demonstrate the following criteria's:
- Bring Sous Chef expertise (minimum of 2 years) in Pub/Gastropub and Al A Carte high-volume environment with the abilities to manage all aspects of a kitchen operation in the absence of the Head Chef at senior management level.
- Be an on-shift leader, a teacher and self-starter to help take this busy operation and improve where required in conjunction with the Head Chef. Have the presence and ensure all kitchen operations are effectively managed.
- Inspired to make a mark, build the business and clientele through great food and service. Learn the business and create menus that suit our style, operations and clientele.
- Someone who is a great communicator well to closely with the Head Chef and Management to take this venue to new levels of (full) service and food offer
- A passion for the Food and Beverage Industry
- Food and safely certificate
