What you'll be doing
- Monitor networks and systems for suspicious activity and potential threats
- Assist with incident response and investigations when security events occur
- Run vulnerability scans and help track remediation progress
- Support the rollout of cybersecurity controls and compliance measures
- Participate in regular security audits and contribute to reporting
- Promote cyber awareness across the business through training and best practices
- Document findings and maintain accurate records of security events
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to resolve security issues
- Stay curious and up to date with emerging cyber threats and trends

About You
You're someone who's just starting out in cybersecurity but already knows this is where you want to grow. Whether you've recently completed your studies or are still working toward a qualification, you're eager to apply your knowledge in a real-world setting and learn from experienced professionals.
You bring a foundational understanding of network security, Active Directory, encryption, and common cyber threats, and you're keen to build on that. You might have dabbled with tools like Microsoft Sentinel, Tenable, or Mimecast or you're ready to dive in and learn them. What sets you apart is your curiosity, your attention to detail, and your commitment to keeping information safe.
You're a clear communicator who's comfortable working with others, documenting your findings, and asking questions when you're unsure. You thrive in collaborative environments and understand the importance of confidentiality and trust.
