About the role

Straightload Transport is seeking an experienced and organised Office Administrator to join our team on a casual basis, supporting our operations Monday to Friday during the PM shift. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth running of our office in Tottenham, Victoria.

What you'll be doing

  • Handling general administrative duties such as answering phones, managing emails, and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems
  • Providing support to our operations team, including processing paperwork, data entry, and assisting with reporting
  • Coordinating the scheduling and booking of appointments and meetings
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment
  • Providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertaking any other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as an office administrator, receptionist, or in a similar administrative role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with MYOB
  • A positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude
  • Flexibility to work a casual PM shift schedule - note this is a permanent position for afternoon shift with same start time but varying finish time.
