Pasta Palumbo is seeking a talented Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in Ormeau, QLD. As a full-time sales representative, you will be responsible for driving new business development and securing partnerships with key clients across our growing portfolio of premium pasta products. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and passion for the industry to contribute to the continued success of our thriving business.
What you'll be doing
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities with potential clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to effectively communicate the unique value of our products
- Negotiate favourable contract terms and close sales deals
- Collaborate cross-functionally with our marketing and operations teams to support the successful execution of sales strategies
- Provide regular feedback and insights to help inform our product development and go-to-market plans
- Exceed individual and team sales targets through strategic account management and new business generation
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role, ideally within the food and beverage industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with customers at all levels
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen to secure favourable deals
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Passion for premium food products and a deep understanding of the local market
- Tertiary qualification in sales, marketing or a related discipline is preferred
