Senior Medical Receptionist

MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST
- A successful applicant will be expected to provide a superior medical receptionist service (in a surgical clinic) including answering a high volume of patient and doctor calls in a friendly and professional manner.
- Knowledge in Genie software is a prerequisite.
- Booking appointments, registering patient details, settling accounts, scanning documents to the system as we are a paperless practice.
- A successful candidate is expected to work in a surgical clinic, full-time, in a capacity of four daysper week Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Successful applicants will be paid according to NSW award including a 3-month probationary period.
All applications without previous medical receptionist experience will be declined. Please do not apply if you can't fulfil this condition.
Essential Criteria:
- Acceptable computer skills and proficiency working with medical based information systems.
- Prior experience in similar jobs in medical reception.
- Excellent customer service skills and phone manner
- Ability to handle a high-pressure environment and manage stress during busy periods.
- The ability to exercise complete discretion and maintain confidentiality.
