Building a strong team, mentoring & coaching is imperative for this brand. For that reason we are looking for a Junior Planner who is flexible and hands on. An ability to stretch yourself whilst learning and growing with this successful brand, is a great opportunity for someone looking to make Planning their career.
Whilst executing in this Planning team you will also be working and learning alongside the Buyer and Planner in your category. Opportunities for growth are endless, as you will be coached & mentored by the Planner & Product team. The opportunity for learning & growth is huge.
We are looking for people who would like to;
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within and across the organisation.
- Optimise inventory in conjunction with the Buyers to ensure "right stock, right time, right price".
- Steer and monitor planning and inventory activities to achieve financial measures.
- Manage replenishment parameters to optimise inventory levels
- Optimise inventory to ensure in stock of key items/ranges at all times and oversee the allocations process
- Review inventory return on investment to maximise department performance.
- Work strategically with the Planner to reduce and eliminate aged inventory.
- Order and track stock to ensure appropriate levels are in the warehouse & retail stores to ensure sales and stock level KPIs are achieved.
- Provide recommendations and implement action plans to maximise financial outcomes.
- Allocate stock into Stores for new lines, promotions and new stores
- Monitor the results of allocations and make necessary adjustments
- Support stores with stock issues (e.g. excess stock, out of stocks etc)
- Working with Supply Chain / DCs to manage stock flow
- Analysis, evaluation and recommendations on product and store performance
What you will bring:
- Inventory/ Allocation Analyst experience is imperative in an Apparel environment
- Understanding of inventory management within a retail environment
- Sound knowledge of demand, fulfilment and inventory systems
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Problem solving and resolution skills
- Ability to work well within a collaborative, supportive team environment as well as independently
- Intermediate Excel skills will be highly regarded
