The Home Base Design & Build Centre is seeking bright, fun and outgoing individuals to join our growing Welcome Desk team.

  • Casual Position: Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays available (penalty rates apply) with weekday shifts also available.

What are we looking for?

We're on the hunt for some inspiring, imaginative and enthusiastic individuals with exceptional customer service skills. We are looking for vibrant applicants with a calm and friendly disposition, excellent verbal and written communication skills along with a friendly phone manner. Ideally, you'd also possess excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks, work independently as well as part of a close knit team of individuals.

The role would suit those studying in the field of Architecture, Interior Design and Building.

What you'll do?

Our Welcome Desk Team Members are the face of Home Base. They're all-rounders who provide assistance to customers and exhibitors as well as offering office support to other staff members when required.

As part of the Welcome Desk team you will meet and greet plenty of customers and offer them directions and information about the huge range of products and services on offer here in the centre. You'll also assist by answering telephone and email enquiries, along with processing payments and offering internal office support.
