About the role

We are seeking an experienced AI Enablement Lead to champion the adoption of AI-powered tools and automation across BGL's product and engineering teams. In this strategic and hands-on role, you'll work at the cutting edge of technology, partnering with stakeholders to drive meaningful, organisation-wide transformation.

About you

You are an experienced software engineering or DevOps professional with a knack for bringing new technology to life within development teams. You have hands-on coding expertise and a track record of successfully implementing tools, automation, or infrastructure that improves how teams work. You thrive in collaborative environments, are an excellent communicator, and enjoy building buy-in and driving change.

What you'll be doing
  • Leading the introduction and rollout of AI-powered coding, testing, and automation tools for product development teams
  • Collaborating with team leads and stakeholders to select, test, and refine AI solutions that suit diverse technology stacks and workflows
  • Integrating AI tools into our DevOps workflows, ensuring they complement our development standards and security requirements
  • Designing and delivering training programs, resources, and internal communities to support successful adoption of AI
  • Managing tool licensing, documentation, adoption roadmaps, and fostering a culture of AI best practice
  • Tracking tool usage and effectiveness, regularly gathering feedback, and refining strategies to drive continuous improvement
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and new AI technologies to keep BGL at the forefront of software development innovation
