We're looking for a driven Senior AI Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems through applied artificial intelligence as they become a key contributor to our Applied AI Engineering team.

Our ideal candidate will have the opportunity to shape Quantium's AI-powered engineering capabilities, leveraging modern large language models, agent systems, and cloud-native architectures. They will drive the evolution of our AI rapid prototyping platform, implement robust agent system scaffolds, and develop sophisticated AI solutions using Python, TypeScript, and cloud technologies that demonstrate measurable business value.

How will you make an impact?

• Design and implement scalable, production-ready AI engineering solutions that solve complex
• business problems
• Drive technical architecture and system design decisions for AI-native applications
• Lead development of agent systems and AI-powered tools that enhance engineering productivity
• Produce detailed, well-structured technical documentation for AI engineering best practices
• Champion AI code quality through reviews, testing strategies, and best practices
• Collaborate across teams to integrate AI capabilities throughout engineering processes
• Mentor engineers on AI engineering techniques, and contribute to team growth
• Drive innovation in AI-enabled delivery models that capture new market segments
• Contribute to the AI knowledge base and learning & development curriculum

The Superpowers You Will Bring To The Team

• Proven history of designing and delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions
• Strong experience with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI technologies
• Experience building and deploying agent systems or AI-powered applications
• Deep understanding of AI engineering patterns and best practices
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Drive for continuous learning in the rapidly evolving AI landscape
• Expert-level experience with Python and at least one of: TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#
• Proficiency in modern AI development practices:
• LLM prompt engineering and optimization
• Agent system architecture
• AI testing and evaluation
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery for AI systems
• Experience with at least one major LLM framework (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Google ADK)
• Experience with the big 3 cloud providers' AI services is highly desirable (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of responsible AI principles and best practices
