Role Overview

This is a
full-time on-site role for a
Senior Software Engineer

at Embrava in Sydney Australia
. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that power our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX/UI, and QA, to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance workplace productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring high coding standards and best practices.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years
    of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in
    modern programming languages
    such as C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Experience with
    Microsoft Azure
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database technologies
    (MSSQL).
  • Experience with
    frontend frameworks
    like React, Angular, or
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization
    (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile development environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote/hybrid environment.
