Bunbury, Western Australia BETHANIE GROUP Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Bethanie is a leading not for profit aged care provider based in Western Australia. For 70 years, we have been empowering ageing Australians to lead their most meaningful lives by recognising 'old age' as a positive force in society and giving a voice to those who have seen it all and live to tell the tale.

We're on a mission to create a better world not just for ageing Australians, but their communities as well, and we believe that to make this difference, you need the right people by your side.

We are currently seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic and well presented Village Administrator to join our team at Bethanie Fields Retirement Village, located in Eaton. Co-located with an aged care home, Bethanie Fields is home to a welcoming village community consisting of 145 units and 210 residents. The village is dynamic with a resident-led annual fete, active Men's Shed and a gardening group.

This role is dynamic and comes with different challenges and opportunities, therefore we are looking for a 'go getter' with a passion for customer service. You will have well developed administration skills along with a genuine interest in the aged care industry.

The Village Administrator provides support to the Village Manager in the day to day operational activities of the village and is a key point of contact for our residents.

This role is offered on a permanent, part time basis working 4 days a week. The working hours will be 9am – 5pm.

About You

  • High level of attention to detail, with the ability to learn new processes and software quickly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
  • Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations (minimum of one covid and annual flu)
  • Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)

The Role

  • Provide a high level of customer service to residents, visitors and contractors
  • Actively contribute to the development of a community culture within the village
  • Respectful and effective management of complaints, compliments and suggestions
  • Liaising between residents and contractors as required
  • Assist with all aspects of prospective and incoming residents
  • Raise all purchase order requisitions and liaise with suppliers
  • Supporting the Village Manager in preparing budgets, monthly reporting, coordinating services and managing village matters
  • Coordinate with residents and social committee on various items, including arranging catering for functions and distribution of communications such as newsletter
  • Other reception and general administrative duties as required
