About the Role

You'll be working on the floor of our busy trade hardware and engineering supplies store, helping customers with practical advice and product knowledge.

Your daily duties will include:

  • Greeting and serving customers - using your expert knowledge to help them solve problems
  • Maintaining presentation of the store and displays
  • Unpacking stock, invoicing goods in, and dispatching orders
  • Staying up to date with product knowledge and industry trends
About You

Ideally, you'll have a mix of the following:

  • Hands-on experience with tools, workshop gear, or DIY projects
  • A basic understanding of imperial and metric systems
  • A friendly and helpful nature - you enjoy talking to customers
  • Motivation, reliability, and good attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills

It's a bonus (but not essential) if you have:

  • A forklift licence
  • Retail or customer service experience

  • You'll be on your feet a lot - this is a busy, hands-on role
  • You must be available for rostered Saturday mornings
