A top-tier ASX-listed firm with operations across the globe, is seeking a Head of Enterprise PMO to join them on a permanent basis, as part of a huge transformation.

They're an excellent brand, with a reputation for being a fantastic place to work, and this role will have huge impact, building a new EPMO in a greenfield environment.

You are:

You're a Head of PMO or Senior EPMO Lead with enterprise level experience in building a PMO from the ground up, creating consistency across the portfolio & ways of working.

Ideally you have a project delivery background prior to moving into PMO, with strong relationship building & influencing skills and ability to bring teams together.

With a proactive attitude, you are approachable and personable with excellent communication skills.

They have an eclectic set of methodologies & processes and an immature project delivery environment, so it's important that you have experience outside of big firms with established & structured PMO's.

With awesome CBD offices, they are three days per week in office, ideally more for the first couple of months in the role.

The Role:

As the Head of EPMO, you'll be instrumental in building a new function from scratch, with a focus on change & comms, creating consistency & harmonising WOW.

You'll be demonstrating value to the wider team, creating excitement & buy-in. The relationship side is critical, and the role will require monthly interstate travel (a few days of the month).

This is a rare opportunity to have huge impact building a new EPMO and establishing a new & better way of managing projects across the organisation. They have a unified leadership vision, excitement for the new direction and a big project pipeline (IT and business). 

Skills / Experience / Responsibilities:

  • Experienced as a Head of PMO / EPMO or Senior EPMO Manager / Lead
  • Ideally a background in firms with immature project / PMO environments
  • Experience building a PMO from the ground up
  • Skilled in change & comms
  • Skilled in standardising processes & methodologies, WOW & delivery
  • Creating delivery excellence for complex programs
  • Establishing consistency across reporting, governance and decision-rights
  • Able to work well with ambiguity & immature project teams
