Position Overview:

Elite Care Central Coast Pty Ltd is dedicated to enhancing the lives of our community participants. We provide personalized care and support services to empower individuals and enable them to live fulfilling, independent lives. Position Summary:

Currently, we are looking for a Casual Supporting Worker offering around 15 hours per week, various locations, and support starting from 2 hours per day up to 6 hours per day with each participant. If all goes well, we can look at increasing your hours.

We're seeking female and male Casual Support Workers (we strongly recommend that males apply) to join our team on the Central Coast. In this role, you'll support individuals with diverse needs, helping them achieve their goals and enjoy a higher quality of life. You'll work closely with participants and other team members to provide tailored support and build positive, respectful relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care, emotional support, and companionship.
• Assist participants with daily activities, such as meal preparation, household tasks, and mobility.
• Implement individualized support plans and encourage independence.
• Support participants to engage in community and recreational activities.
• Supporting participants in our SIL homes.
• Maintain accurate records and report on participant progress.
• Adding notes after each support, clocking in and out of each support

Requirements:

• Certificate 3 or better in disability or aged care, or willing to enrol to gain your qualifications. (This is non-negotiable)
• Previous experience in disability, aged care, or community support is preferred, with a minimum of 1 year of experience, although it is not essential, as we are willing to train the right support workers.
• A compassionate, patient, and friendly demeanour
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., First Aid, CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, Police Check)
• Valid driver's license, full comprehensive insurance and access to reliable transport
• A caring attitude and wanting to make a difference in someone's life.
