What You'll Be Doing

  • Follow detailed architectural and engineering plans
  • Work safely using SWMS and your PPE
  • Team up with other carpenters, supervisors and apprentices to organise schedules
  • Report to the supervisor/project manager, troubleshoot issues, and, when needed, lead on-site
  • Clean up, lock up, and keep everything shipshape each day
  • Occasionally take on site supervisor duties and attend office meetings as needed

  • Valid qualifications, licences, and in-date safety tickets
  • Tools and transport kept clean, secure, and tagged
  • Arrive onsite at least 15 minutes early
  • Work safely and to a high standard—no shortcuts
  • Professionalism and respect in all interactions

Who You AreA skilled carpenter who takes real pride in your craftsmanship, can lead apprentices when needed, and values safety and teamwork. You're punctual, proactive, and ready to take ownership on site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Carpentry: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • White Card (Preferred)
  • Work Safely at Heights (Preferred)
  • Driver Licence (Required)
