Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable carpenter to join our team. The role involves working across a variety of projects including:


• Residential new builds and extensions


• Lock-up, fix, and fit-off carpentry


• Cladding and decking packages


• Commercial and industrial fit-outs

This is a hands-on role, suited to someone who can work independently as well as in a team, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities


• Read and interpret building plans and specifications


• Carry out framing, lock-up, fix, fit-off, cladding, and decking works


• Use a wide range of hand and power tools safely and efficiently


• Maintain a clean and safe job site


• Work collaboratively with apprentices and other team members


• Deliver high-quality finishes that align with Simbuild's standards

Requirements


• Qualified Carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent)


• Current White Card (Construction Induction)


• Experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry


• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team


• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious


• Driver's licence and reliable vehicle


• Own tools (preferred but not essential)
