We are seeking an experienced and committed Senior Interior Designer to join our experienced team on a full-time basis.

You must have a minimum of 15-18 years' experience working within fast paced small to medium sized commercial interior design businesses.

The Role

This role specifically requires an experienced Senior Designer that is seeking greater accountability and is looking to progress to a more senior management / leadership role. This role is not a pathway from mid-level to Senior.

Your portfolio shall primarily demonstrate corporate workplace, and ideally include one or more of the following: Government, Education and Aged Care.

You must clearly demonstrate an understanding of end-to-end project delivery methods, articulate design process, be a clear and confident communicator, and have a solid understanding of documentation and of Contracts and Contract Administration.

Focus and accountability are fundamental traits for this role.

A solid foundation in Revit is essential.

Location

Our office is conveniently located off St Kilda Road in South Melbourne, with easy access to public transport and breathtaking views of the Botanical Gardens and the Shrine.

Requirements for success

  • A degree in Interior Design or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in commercial interior design, with a demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire a team
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Adobe Suite, SketchUp,  and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Deep understanding of construction, the NCC, and Australian standards
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to design and project management
  • Passionate about delivering innovative design solutions that align with client goals and project requirements
  • Looking for a long-term role where you can make a lasting impact and grow with the company
