Kagome Australia is a leading agribusiness with farms located across regional Victoria and New South Wales.

Kagome is looking for experienced Farm Hands/ Irrigators to join our field operations team in the Echuca and Rochester (VIC) areas.

The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out a range of general farming activities within our Tomato, Cereal, Carrot, Garlic and other rotational crops.

Duties may include, but not be limited to:

  • Tractor Work
  • Spraying
  • Land preparation
  • Assisting with the delivering of water and fertigation requirements to all crops
  • Assisting with maintaining irrigation infrastructure including irrigation lines and connectors, pumps, filtration systems, motors, and automated delivery systems
  • Moisture monitoring and repairing irrigation infrastructure
  • Routine maintenance of farming equipment and machinery

What you offer:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience working on broad acre or row cropping farms.
  • Open class driver's license
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
  • Forklift license, Heavy Vehicle license or ChemCert accreditation and an understanding of irrigation systems (Pivot or Drip) will be highly regarded.
  • A passion for agriculture and desire to establish a long-term employment relationship with Kagome.
  • Basic computer literacy, using Ipad software and basic Microsoft applications.
  • Physically fit.
