The role at Witten Partners Chartered Accountants entails the following duties:

  • Full/Part Time hours available to the succesful applicant.
  • Part-time positions offer 20-25 hours per week.
  • Bank Reconciling
  • General Ledger Reconciling
  • Payroll
  • BAS Preparation
  • End of Financial Year and Month End checks and balances
  • Liaising effectively with clients such as the ATO and other stakeholders on any matters.
  • Assistance to Senior Accountants.
  • Project administration support on company internal projects (system implementation, procedure creation etc)
  • General administrative tasks like preparing packages for clients, photocopying, scanning, filing and data entry in Excel and Word
  • Maintaining company registers and calendars
  • Other duties as necessary

The Person

Ideally you will have:

  • 2025 High School Graduates will be considered for a 2026 start date.
  • Year 12 completion as the minimum education requirement.
  • A desire to or be studying towards an accounting qualification.
  • Able to work independently & with minimum supervision.
  • A professional work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills essential.
  • Or, the desire to learn.
