The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced corporate M&A lawyer to join their national Corporate/M&A practice with at least 2 years plus pae.

The Australian and international companies and enterprises the team works with range from small corporations and start-ups to large, publicly listed companies. This team advises on the full spectrum of corporate law issues.

You will be involved in work spanning capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions (regulated and unregulated), major commercial transactions, complex joint ventures and resources projects.

About You

To be successful in this position, you need:

  • At least 2 years experience in a corporate practice or in-house in a corporate advisory and/or M&A role.
  • A desire to be involved in mentoring the more junior members of the team.
  • To be confident, capable and have excellent interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role.
  • A commercial pragmatic approach as well as strong technical skills
