Zelda Bakery is a kosher sourdough bakery located in Ripponlea making naturally leavened breads and small batch sweet and savoury pastries including croissants, babka, cookies, quiches and focaccias.

We are looking for a full time kitchen hand or pastry assistant to help our team with food prep and basic pastry prep including but not limited to vegetable cutting and cooking, doughnut frying and filling, cookie and pastry shaping and more.

The successful candidate will be reliable, able to follow instructions and be able to work within a team framework. This role would be suited to someone keen to upskill in a bakery setting. This role requires a minimum of 2 years work experience in a kitchen (not specifically a bakery) and full Australian working rights. Please include references in your application. We do not work on weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.95 – $42.42 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
