Kitchen Hand

Zelda Bakery is a kosher cosy sourdough bakery located in Ripponlea. We are a community bakery and provide a range of naturally leavened breads as well as small batch sweet and savoury pastries to the local community, some of which include croissants, babka, cookies, quiches and focaccias. We work Monday through Friday, are open to the public Wednesday and Friday and we do not work on weekends generally.

We are looking for a full time kitchen hand/pastry assistant to support our hardworking team with food prep and basic pastry prep. This role will include but is not limited to vegetable and fruit cutting and cooking, weighing and shaping cookies, pastry shaping and assembling, doughnut frying and filling, pastry garnishing and assisting with the oven, as well as washing dishes and general kitchen maintenance.

This role is suited to someone who is keen to upskill in a bakery setting, who is reliable, works well within a team framework and can follow instructions. This role requires a minimum of 2 years working experience in a commercial kitchen and full Australian working rights. Please include references in your application.
