Freelance Tour Guide – Sydney

Guydeez is looking for passionate and outgoing locals in Sydney to lead private, customized walking tours for small groups of travelers.

You don't need professional guiding experience—just a love for Sydney, great communication skills, and the ability to make visitors feel at home.

Role Overview

  • Position: Freelance Tour Guide
  • Location: Sydney
  • Contract Type: Freelance
  • Payment: 240 AUD/day (fixed rate)
  • Flexibility: Choose the days and hours that work for you

What You'll Do

  • Lead private walking tours for international guests
  • Share stories about Sydney's history, culture, and landmarks
  • Tailor each experience to the interests of your group
  • Optional: Host food and culinary tours if you're passionate about local cuisine

What We're Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of Sydney's landmarks, history, and culture
  • Fluency in at least one language: French, Spanish, German, Italian, English, Chinese, or Portuguese
  • Previous guiding/hosting experience is welcome but not required
  • Willingness to host tours lasting 3 to 8 hours
