Art Director

About the Role

Oscar Hunt is seeking an Art Director to join our growing team in Collingwood. This role is full-time and based in our beautiful new head office space. The Art Director is the custodian of Oscar Hunt's visual identity - bringing creative strategy and execution together to deliver creative work that captures the spirit of the brand across campaigns, photography, and design. Reporting to the Founder, you'll translate brand direction and creative frameworks into refined, cohesive, and visually exceptional outcomes across every touchpoint.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Hands-on and on the tools, with a deep understanding of design, art direction, and brand storytelling
• Experienced in fashion art direction and attuned to the culture and movement of the fashion world
• Creatively versatile with exceptional aesthetic judgement and attention to detail
• Entrepreneurial in mindset - someone who challenges convention, embraces curiosity, and seeks fresh ways to express the brand
• Confident managing both concept development and execution
• Motivated by the chance to tell meaningful stories and shape how people experience the Oscar Hunt brand

Key Responsibilities

• Concept, direct, and produce seasonal and capsule campaigns
• Lead photography and content creation across wardrobe, product, lifestyle, and showroom storytelling
• Maintain and evolve the Oscar Hunt photography and videography style guide
• Ensure cohesion across print, digital, packaging, and in-store experiences
• Manage all shoots, including production planning, shooting, editing, and asset organisation
• Collaborate with our Founder on brand direction and creative evolution
• Ensure every creative output reflects Oscar Hunt's values of craftsmanship, authenticity, and hospitality

About You

• A hands-on creative with broad capability across disciplines and deep strength in design and execution
• Strong aesthetic judgement with the ability to maintain consistency across all visual outputs
• Experienced in art direction, photography, and graphic design, with a portfolio that demonstrates refined taste and versatility
• Comfortable working across both strategic ideation and creative execution
• Passionate about craftsmanship, storytelling, and detail
• Collaborative, humble, and grounded, embodying the belief that great experiences begins with care
