
National Account Development Manager

About the role:
Using your client engagement expertise you will act as the primary point of contact for clients, not just managing accounts, but providing strategic guidance, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver outstanding service to drive adoption and utilisation of GS1 Australia standards and services.
You will be at the forefront of cultivating and expanding strategic partnerships, turning satisfied customers into enthusiastic advocates.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with key accounts, understanding their business goals and collaborating to achieve mutual success.
- Proactively introducing clients to additional services and solutions that align with their evolving needs, contributing directly to revenue growth targets.
- Operating as the lead point of contact for all matters related to your accounts and coordinating internal teams to meet performance objectives, ensuring the timely and seamless delivery of solutions and projects that exceed client expectations.
- Attending relevant client meetings, working group calls, webinars, and industry events to stay informed and strengthen relationships.
- Undertaking administrative tasks to support the role, including assisting the Finance team with following up on long outstanding invoices and resolving escalation issues with key accounts as required.

To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience in account management, ideally gained within a complex technology or services-related sector. You thrive on building value-based, long-lasting trusted relationships and have exceptional communication skills. You are confident in your ability to negotiate, and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, from senior management to operational teams.
In addition, our ideal candidate will possess:
- A proactive mindset, and the ability and as part of a collaborative team.
- The proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines while managing competing priorities.
- The capability to juggle day-to-day administrative tasks while continuing to strengthen your relationship with you key accounts.
- The demonstrated capability to translate complex solutions into meaningful, goal-oriented benefits for clients
