Medical Receptionist/Administration

We are seeking a medical receptionist in busy orthopaedic surgical practice located opposite Nepean Hospital. There will be a three month probation period.
Required skills
Excellent administration and patient focused skills.
Be prepared to travel to Macquarie University Clinic.
Must have the ability to work unsupervised.
Previous medical reception in a specialist/surgical practice.
Scheduling and making patient appointments accurately.
Touch typing of letters and reports
Preparation of surgical quotes
Communication with workers compensation claims
Liase with admissions in public and private hospitals.
Neat and tidy presentation.
Desirable skills
Knowledge and practical experience in using practice management software.
Due to the nature of this position being health care, only fully vaccinated applicants can be accepted.
Off street parking provided and located to close to public transport.
