About the role

We are seeking suitably qualified A Class Electricians / Instrumentation Technicians to join our team for ongoing project work at Olympic Dam.

We offer competitive rates, travel, accommodation, and meals are supplied.

FIFO from Adelaide or DIDO from country towns nearby

Multiple opportunities available and a variety of family friendly rosters on offer.

To be successful in this position you,

  • Must have South Australian Electrical or Instrumentation Workers Licence.
  • Must have a current LVR - CPR ticketed within the last 12 months.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete safe systems of work to the satisfaction of the client and management.
  • Have a positive work ethic and desire to develop new skills.
  • Be competent in current E&I theory, principles and equipment.
  • Capability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Have experience in electrical installation and electrical fault-finding.
  • Have experience in control panel building & terminations,
  • Knowledge in PLCs will also be advantageous
  • Experience in heavy industrial or mining.
  • Be able to work on 12 hours shifts.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience working at Olympic Dam will be highly regarded
  • Must have a White Card.

Suitably screened candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment medical exam including a drug and alcohol screen prior to commencement.
