The Role — Key Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, you'll help our clients maintain their independence, dignity, and wellbeing in their own homes by providing:

  • Personal care, mobility assistance, and help with daily household tasks
  • Social support and encouragement to participate in community and wellness activities
  • Safe transportation to appointments and social outings (paid mileage provided)
  • Regular updates to your Team Leader on client needs and progress

About You — Who We're Looking For

You're a caring, motivated individual with:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Community Services (or current Nursing student with completed Aged Care placements)
  • Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Services
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday between 8am and 1pm
  • Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting older people with empathy and respect
  • A current Driver's License and reliable comprehensively insured vehicle suitable to transport elderly clients
  • A current satisfactory National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • COVID 19 vaccination and influenza vaccination encouraged
