**Disability Support Worker - Moreton Bay Region**:

- In-Home Support | Personal Care & Manual Handling _

**Position Summary**:

- Location:_ Moreton Bay Region
- Shifts:_ 2-6 hours in length
- Pay Rate:_ SCHADS Award Level 2.1-3.1 ($41-$55/hr based on qualifications & experience)
- Weekly Hours:_ Up to 20 hours/week
- Setting:_ Primarily **in-home**, with occasional **community access** outings

**About the Role**:
We are seeking **experienced and confident Support Workers** to join our growing team and deliver **high-quality in-home care** for **multiple clients**.

This is a hands-on role supporting clients with complex physical and cognitive needs.

Duties include:

- **Personal care**, including **manual handling and hoist transfers**:

- Supporting participants with **daily routines**, mobility, hygiene, and engagement
- Occasional **community access** as appropriate
- Clear, timely **documentation** of shift notes and goal progress
- Building rapport with participants and promoting dignity, safety, and empowerment

**Applicants without confidence and experience in personal care and manual handling (including hoist transfers) will not be considered.**

**Ideal Applicants Will Have Experience With**:
**Parkinson’s Disease**
**Muscular Dystrophy**
**Stoma care**
**Non-verbal or communication-limited conditions**
**Dementia**

**Essential Requirements**:

- **NDIS Worker Screening Check** _(or Blue/Yellow Cards)_
- **Cert III in Individual Support** _(or relevant qualification - enrolled students welcome)_
- **Comprehensive car insurance** and **a reliable vehicle**:

- **Strong communication and documentation skills**:

- **Passion for supporting diverse needs and improving lives**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $41.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
