My Australia Direct ANNO CONSTRUCTION PTY LTD REQUIRE A FULL TIME CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN Purpose of Position The full time Civil Engineering Technician will support the planning, execution, and quality assurance of civil construction projects, including concrete formwork, reinforcement, and utility installations. This role involves assisting in project coordination, conducting site inspections, performing materials testing, and collaborating with engineers to develop effective construction solutions. Responsibilities & Duties Assist the Project Director in planning and executing civil construction projects, including FRP works and utility installations. Aid in the preparation of design documentation, drawings, and specifications for civil works. Interpret architectural and structural drawings to determine material requirements. Conduct testing of construction materials (e.g., concrete slump tests, reinforcement tensile strength tests) to ensure compliance with standards. Perform site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and adherence to specifications. Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Participate in the analysis of project data and provide reports to senior staff. Prepare and maintain project-related documentation and records. Contribute to quality control checks and safety assessments on-site. Aid in the selection and evaluation of materials and equipment for projects. Coordinate communication between project stakeholders and team members. Attend project meetings and document follow-up actions. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in civil construction.
