This role plays a key part in strengthening Hostplus' employer and member relationships, driving retention, engagement, and strategic growth across a portfolio of key accounts.
The opportunity
Hostplus is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Manager to join our team in a permanent capacity. This role is central to maintaining and growing our employer and member base, with a focus on managing key accounts and contributing to the fund's strategic growth.
As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for the retention, engagement, and development of a portfolio of employer and member accounts. You'll build strong B2B relationships, deliver tailored engagement strategies, and represent Hostplus at industry events and client forums. Your ability to understand client needs, identify opportunities, and deliver exceptional service will be key to your success.
Some key responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of employer and member accounts through proactive engagement and service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, attending industry events and client functions as required.
- Execute formalised client engagement strategies and member service initiatives.
- Support the onboarding of new business and ensure seamless transitions for large employers.
- Deliver education programs and promote Hostplus campaigns across your portfolio.
- Maintain accurate client records in the CRM and ensure compliance with AFSL and RG146 requirements.
- Provide insights and reporting on service levels, engagement outcomes, and portfolio performance.
About you
- Proven experience in account management, client engagement, or business development.
- Strong knowledge of superannuation, industrial relations, and financial products.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- RG146 accreditation is mandatory for this role; however, candidates who are not yet accredited may be considered if they are willing and eligible to complete the certification as part of their onboarding.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or Diploma of Financial Planning are desirable.
