About Us
PlastaMasta Wagga & Riverina Steel Frames is an independent and locally owned supplier of plasterboard, insulation, and fibre cement claddings and light gauge steel framing solutions in the Riverina. As part of the Independent Contractors Group, which also includes ICG Construction and ICG Fleming, we're committed to delivering smarter, faster construction solutions, across both commercial and residential sectors.
We supply many local builders and are proud to contribute to a wide range of exciting and technically challenging projects across the region.
Our long-established plasterboard supply business is now complemented by our expanding light gauge steel framing division, which designs, manufactures, and installs cutting-edge frame and truss systems. We're building momentum in both the commercial and residential markets and are looking for the right person to help us grow.
About the Role
We are seeking a driven Account Manager to help grow our customer base and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Reporting to the Manager, you will play a key role in generating sales across both our plasterboard and steel framing product lines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing an existing book of clients and identifying growth opportunities
- Building relationships with local builders, contractors, and developers
- Quoting for residential projects and identifying commercial opportunities
- Conducting site visits, take-offs, and tracking projects through their lifecycle
- Managing leads and opportunities through our Prospect CRM system
- Meeting monthly sales targets (with support and guaranteed incentives in your first 3 months)
- Promoting our capabilities in both steel framing and traditional linings
- Representing the business at local industry events and trade shows
- Collaborating with internal teams including detailers, logistics, and production
About You
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Have experience in sales of building material
- Understand residential building cycles and how to track upcoming work
- Are confident speaking to builders, site managers, and decision-makers
- Are self-motivated, organised, and great with follow-up
- Can work independently but also enjoy being part of a small, focused team
- Have a current driver's licence
