About the role

ICG Construction Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering complex construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, and quality to meet or exceed client expectations
  • Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to succeed
  • Implement and maintain effective project management processes and systems
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to keep stakeholders informed of project progress and performance

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 8 years' experience as a Senior Project Manager in the construction industry
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate, and control multiple project streams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, contractors, and the project team
  • Proficient in the use of project management software and tools
  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make informed decisions in a timely manner
