Embedded Expertise have secured 3 Long-term contract Electrical Project Engineering Positions for one of the largest heavy rail projects currently under construction here in Brisbane, Queensland.

Coming from an Electrical background you will be providing electrical engineering and Infrastructure on this exciting project.

Experience and Skills

  • Communications and Controls qualifications and background.
  • Bachelor of Engineering - Electrical, Communications / Instrumentation
  • Industry specific experience within building services and/or rail preferred.
  • Experience with delivery and on-site construction
  • Design, construction and commissioning experience
  • Fibre cabling, robots, communication networks
  • Infrastructure experience
  • Panels, switch boards, electrical schematics.

Responsibilities:

  • The preparation of site installation Workpacks, in accordance with the project specifications and design
  • Actively liaising with vendors supplying assets and products ensuring on time delivery to meet program.
  • Preparing progress report on project testing and commissioning status for stakeholders, including significant milestones
  • Subcontractor management including conducting weekly meetings, variation reviews, monthly invoicing approval.
  • Ensure compliance with all QA and reporting processes (review and completion of ITP's, Witness Points, Hold Points, CHE's, etc)
  • Review and monitor construction progress against program and budget

Qulifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience in design, construction, and commissioning
