Role Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support a major client-side mining operation and contribute to a range of capital and minor projects. This role is ideal for an all-rounder who thrives in managing multiple smaller projects at a time, while ensuring compliance to Australian Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing tender packages and providing procurement support
  • Planning and preparing electrical engineering scopes of works
  • Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with Australian Standards (AS)
  • Liaising with internal/external stakeholders and contractors
  • Managing the safe execution of project scope
  • Ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting on milestones

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years post-graduation electrical engineering experience is required
  • Experience working on-site and on a roster highly regarded
  • Ability to manage multiple smaller projects concurrently
  • A strong commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Awareness of quality, risk management, and compliance requirements
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
