Job Title: Senior Sales Trainer and Development Manager

About This Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled sales trainer to join our team as a Senior Sales Trainer and Development Manager. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales management, training, and development.

This is a senior position that requires the ability to lead and develop a team of learning and development associates, set clear performance objectives, and support the team to deliver on annual training plans aligned with business strategy and identified needs of the sales force.

The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and identifying market trends, best practices, and standards to incorporate into training solutions, collaborating with the sales team, sales managers, marketing, and medical teams to provide input into market needs, assessing L&D delivery methods to meet participants' needs, and providing an innovative approach to training methods that are agile, efficient, and maximize the opportunity for learning.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and develop a team of learning and development associates
  2. Set clear performance objectives and support the team to deliver on annual training plans
  3. Research and identify market trends, best practices, and standards to incorporate into training solutions
  4. Collaborate with the sales team, sales managers, marketing, and medical teams
  5. Assess L&D delivery methods to meet participants' needs
  6. Provide an innovative approach to training methods
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Previous extensive experience in sales management and sales training
  • Understanding of sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Solid understanding of training process and training needs identification
  • Excellent capability as a trainer
  • Strong leadership skills
